My name is Jessica Custodio, and I am a second-year student at the State University of New York-Dutchess and a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
I currently live in New York by way of Connecticut. I got my start in politics during the 2016 election, which helped me understand the true horrors and dangers of socialism. While I do not have a direct connection to socialism, it is evident that many young people and professors are encouraging and touting socialism on and off-campus. In October 2019, I got my start in journalism as a Campus Correspondent for Campus Reform.
A few short months later, in March 2020, I became and am currently the New York Senior Campus Correspondent for Campus Reform, and I have appeared on Fox and Friends.
When not fighting socialism, I can be seen traveling around the US, reading many books, and spending time with my family, and Shih Tzu, Bruno. I am excited to work for Young Americans Against Socialism and to share their message to young people to help inspire them to understand the horrors of socialism and to uphold and be proud of America and its values.
My favorite presidents are Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln, and George W. Bush (Who I share my birthday with), and my favorite author is Jordan B. Peterson.
