I frequently have conversations with my three-year-old niece in which she informs me of what I do or do not support or like. When I object, I am told that we are just "playing pretend". That's the singular difference between my three-year-old niece and Marxists on the left, my niece recognizes and admits she's playing pretend; many Marxists on the left no longer have even the slightest grasp on the realities of the world. Worse still, American society today is enabling false dichotomies to become more widespread than the truth.
Americans sit idly by as Marxists demean them by screaming into their face and threatening them with violence if they don't comply with their demands. These Marxists claim to be fighting fascism, but the reality is, they themselves are acting like fascists. Suppose any rare American does dare to call this dangerous behavior out for what it is, reminiscent of the violent bolsheviks in a movement also led by 'trained Marxists'. In that case, they risk more demagoguery until they relent.
Americans stay silent, if not join in when their fellow brothers and sisters are labeled as racists, sexists, and bigots, without evidence. Despite knowing someone to have never spoken a racist, sexist, or bigoted word nor performed such an act, Americans offer themselves up as victims to the mob and willingly accept what they say. Nevermind what consequences may occur on the wrongly accused in the new United States of Groupthink.
Americans watch as cities burn, small businesses get destroyed, homes ruined, guillotines set up, and innocent people are killed. According to the Marxist leaders, all of this is necessary to achieve their agenda. An agenda that they have been taught by murderous dictators such as Maduro and Chavez. Most Americans don’t question this, instead they are encouraging and supporting these actions as an attempt to virtue signal how decent of human beings they are. This shows yet again how disconnected many Americans are from reality. The reality that real and meaningful action could be taken through means of honest and open conversations and through peaceful legislative reform, not threatening "Death to America", is not a reality they are willing to face.
America is, at its core, a great country. Just as all humans are born sinners, no country is without its flaws. However, no country has done more to advance the human conditions of the world than America. It was America that was the first country to declare "all men are created equal" and lead the world on a path striving towards fulfilling those words with actions. It was America that showed the world what freedom looked like and why every human being deserved to live and prosper under a free society instead of a dictatorial nation plagued by communism. It is America that has revolutionized not just the world's systems of government, but of economy and industry, paving the way for the population of humans living in poverty each year to decrease, not increase as the Marxist may have you believe. It is America that stands up when other countries are in need.
Now America is the country in desperate need, but the only people who can save America are Americans themselves. As Abraham Lincoln famously said in his Lyceum Address, "If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide" .1
It is time for Americans to stand up against the tyranny and destruction of the Marxist takeover.
It is time for Americans to stop cowering when seeing someone given a horrific label wrongly because they are afraid they will be labeled the same.
It is time for Americans to stop encouraging, supporting, and protecting the burning of America, labelling it as "just".
It is time for Americans to remember that America is a great country that has the ability to do great things if UNITED for good, not ruled by a mob for destruction.
It is time for Americans to show the world that we won't let our diversity, The Great American Experiment, tear us apart.
It is time for Americans to stand up and speak out the truth.
You may think you can't now, but if you lay down and allow the Marxist complete control, you will find out what the word can't really means when it comes to freedom.
